Old Log Theatre in Excelsior has some fun options for the holidays and into the new year. A few of our Twin Cities Theater Bloggers made it out to "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder." It runs through February 15, 2020, so you (and maybe another blogger) have time to see this funny and "morally repugnant" show!
The Stages of MN says: A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder as a show is a superior musical comedy. http://bit.ly/2BG1usw
Twin Cities Stages says: (It) opened on Broadway in 2013, and won the Tony Award for best musical. It is a show well deserving of the moniker. It is filled with fun upbeat music, and a very comedic book. https://bit.ly/2Pn0C4b
Cherry and Spoon says: It's a charming and hilarious big broad English comedy (written by Americans Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak), full of fast clever lyrics, lovely melodies and harmonies, and ridiculously plotted murders, executed brilliantly by the team at Old Log. http://bit.ly/cs_gglam
Also, at Old Log Theatre is the children's show Emperor's New Clothes, through Dec. 31, 2019. Blogger Trin Carl, The GlobalDig, says: Children delight in questions actors pose to the audience like "What kind of emperor goes to a parade in his underwear?" http://bit.ly/2Obgg1t
