Maria De Buenos Aires - TCTB Review Roundup

In case Mill City Summer Opera's MARIA DE BUENOS AIRES came and went too quickly for you to catch it, you can read what our bloggers thought about it, and then make plans to catch their annual (usually outdoor) opera next summer.
Twin Cities Stages:

"The music of Maria De Buenos Aires is unlike the music of classical operas, it is the music of Argentinian Tango. The sound is lush and romantic, but also passionate and desperate."
Cherry and Spoonhttp://bit.ly/cs_maria
"On a hot and steamy summer night, Maria de Buenos Aires is a hot and steamy little opera that is positively hypnotic in its poetry of sound and movement."

"Mill City Summer Opera is creating unique, engaging theater and is an utter delight."

Don't Dress for Dinner - TCTB Review Roundup

The Twin Cities Theater Bloggers are thrilled that there's a new theater space in St. Paul! The Gremlin Theatre debuts their new space, which will hopefully be home to many shows and theater companies in the future, with the hilarious production of DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER. But it closes this weekend, so act fast! Bonus: Lake Monster Brewing is right next door and you can bring their drinks into the theater, and they often have food trucks available, which makes for a fun night out.
Compendium - Minneapolis:
"Essentially a "Who's on First?" for romantic relationships, this silly caper will have you giggling without having to worry about being hit over the head with heavy themes."

Cherry and Spoon:
"A really funny and fast-moving show with a fantastic cast."
