They recommend the show stating "the bull-jean stories is a beautifully lyrical look at love and resilience through the lens of a Southern Black lesbian woman in the early 20th century, with an impressive performance by #TCTheater favorite Aimee K. Finally Cherry and Spoon weighs in and the tally comes up Fresh cherries "A great cast, a suspenseful story (especially if you've never read the book or have forgotten the ending, like I had), and a tight interplay between recorded scenes and live performances make for an entertaining night (or afternoon) at the theater."
