TCTB Review Roundup: The Orchard Theater Collective's SAINT JOAN

A couple of our bloggers have gotten a chance to go and see The Orchard Theater Collective's latest work Saint Joan and have given it rave reviews. It is currently running through March 21st.
The Global Digs says "This production is sure to make you think of Saint Joan in a different light. I personally don't believe in war. But if I was going to be swayed, Annie Schiferl, and this Saint Joan might be the ones to do it." Read more: http://bit.ly/2wHEN82
Single White Fringe Geek says "In what can often feel like a dark time these days, a time I really need to believe in something better, it’s uplifting to watch people who do believe, and fervently....almost as if theater might be the cure for what ails us, body and soul." "The most famous line from TWELFTH NIGHT is "if music be the food of love play on." Orchard Theater's production includes music, food, love, play, and a great sense of merriment and celebration."

"In the Orchard Theater Collective's hands, old language becomes dynamic and fun, modern music meets age-old emotion, and a simple theater space becomes a lighthearted and laughter-filled haven from winter's cold."

TCTB Review Roundup: Orchard Theater Collective's THOMAS TALLIS

Another show that the bloggers loved is closing this weekend, so act fast to catch The Orchard Theater Collective's lovely and intimate THOMAS TALLIS, performed in a church.
"New young theater company Orchard Theater Collective has chosen this play as their second work, staging a lovely and haunting production in Calvary Baptist Church."
Cherry and Spoonhttp://bit.ly/cs_tallis
"Thomas Tallis may be an imagined telling of his life and the historical times, but the themes and emotions portrayed ring true. The Orchard Theater Collective presents a beautiful story of suffering as well as hope and, of course, the stunning power of music."

"The show is a thoughtful look into the forgotten name behind eternalized music and the history that shaped it. If you are a fan of choral music this piece is not to be missed."
Twin Cities Stageshttp://bit.ly/2HRlsCh
"What you need to know is THIS: Set in the lovely Calvary Baptist Church, lit by candlelight and with no amplification other than the church's natural acoustics, with Thomas Tallis's gorgeous music sung by the choir, and a strong, endearing cast, this is a unique, gorgeous, compelling show. See it, support it, love it."
